Middlebrooks Award for co-author of the paper “Characterization of the Reduction in Undrained Shear Strength in Fine-Grained Soils due to Cyclic Loading” published in the May 2019 issue of Journal of Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Engineering.

Vickery, Ph.D., P.E., F.SEI, F.ASCE from the Eastern Branch of the North Carolina Section has been selected by the ASCE Cermak Awards Committee to receive the 2020 Jack E. Cermak Medal for “his contributions in the development of hurricane hazard models for risk analysis and for his major impact on the development of building codes and standards in North America.”

Petersen Award for “her selfless dedication to preparing and mentoring future civil and environmental engineers and to serving the professional community through service and leadership.”
