YOUNGER MEMBER LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM

Aug 4-6, 2017

ASCE Headquarters

1801 Alexander Bell Drive
Reston, VA, USA 20191

The Younger Member Leadership Symposium (YMLS) is a two-day workshop hosted by the Committee on Younger Members.  It is open to all Younger Members and is not restricted to YM President's and/or officers.  During this conference, we will focus on professional development for your career.  Note that we will not be covering how to run a successful ASCE YM Group (although this is important information, these topics are covered at the MRLCs and the PGF).

Participants practice self-reflection about their personal management style, debunk common leadership myths, isolate key leadership traits that contribute to successful project management, and discuss ways to implement what they learn immediately.  In addition, participants will have the opportunity to socialize and network with other Younger Members from across the nation.
